Laurie's keeps three stylists busy, each working with their own clients as well as folks who simply walk in to see us.   We keep the same family comfortable setting that Magnolia has enjoyed for 27 years, while gently adapting to the ever changing world of style.

Growing up in Magnolia, I came to love the neighborhood and the folks who live here.  During high school I taught myself to cut my own hair, which although that was fine for me, the Shoreline Community College program taught me how to do it right, as well as how to run the business.

I worked at this location under the previous owner for many years, buying the business from Carolyn in 2003.  I must be doing something right, because she still comes in every week to get her hair done!

I have been in the industry for 20 years now.   I love working on hair and making people happy and beautiful.

Coloring, highlighting and specialty coloring are my favorite things to work on.   I also specialize in thermal straighteners, relaxers and fancy styles.   My clients are eclectic, and of all ages.

Hi, my name is Jacqueline LeClech. I have loved doing hair for as long as I can remember. I was cutting many family and friends' hair when I as a teenager. I married young and had two children. When my youngest child was in school iIwent to beauty school to get my license.

I continued to do family and friends' hair through this time and even did hair for a couple weddings. One of the brides pictures were in a bridal magazine.
Just before I graduated I entered a hair competition held in Oregon. I entered three categories and took 1st place in all of them . After graduation I immediatley went to work at Carolyns Beauty Salon. A couple of years later, Laurie a coworker of mine bought the shop when Carolyn retired. I stayed on there, now Laurie's Village Salon because its a great place to work and wonderful people I work with.
